Looking for a new challenge in the field of accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance administrator to join a busy and dynamic team. This role is supporting and administering the provision of operational Accounts receivable and Accounts payable services.

  • Salary rate: $35 to $40 + Super upon experience
  • Flexible admin temp contracts, durations & temp to perm opportunities
  • Learn and gain exposure to different industries
  • Most jobs are in urban locations and close to public transport
  • Easy to fill timesheet, on-time payment and option for Real-Time Remuneration.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Creating and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and developing financial plans and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, produce financial statements, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage cash flow, monitor bank accounts, and oversee financial transactions.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, such as fraud or financial loss.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the financial health of the organization, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for future financial strategies.

Overall, finance administration is crucial to the success of an organization and ensures that financial resources are managed effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:


  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures, including financial statements and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with billing processes, invoice generation, and accounts receivable workflows.

In addition to these technical skills and qualifications, you need to be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality, as you will handle sensitive financial information. You should also be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, as part of a finance team.
